Leicestershire Scouts Sub-Aqua Unit (or LSSAU) is a scout activity unit dedicated to offering members of the scouting community the opportunity to experience scuba diving and snorkelling.
Over the course of the unit’s 30+ year history we have provided thousands of Scuba Try dives and experience snorkelling opportunities as well as providing training through the BSAC diving training programme for those who – like us- catch the underwater bug.
LSSAU is committed to providing Sub-Aqua training and experiences that are affordable and accessible to everyone who buys in to the scouting philosophy.
We are proud to be able to provide equipment to our members to get them in the water from fins and regulators to our pride and joy – our 2 Rigid-Hull Inflatable Boats (RHIBs) ‘Fox’ and ‘Vixen’.
Want to learn to scuba dive? Scuba diving is an adventure open to anyone aged 13 or over and Leicestershire Scouts Sub-Aqua Unit provides high-quality BSAC training for beginners.
